Bio<\/strong><\/p>

Antonia Klugmann is the chef and owner of L\u2019Argine a Venc\u00f2<\/em>, located in Dolegna del Collio (Gorizia province). In 2025, her restaurant was awarded one Michelin star, three forks in the Gambero Rosso Guide (the highest rating), and five hats in the L\u2019Espresso<\/em> Guide.<\/p>

Born in Trieste, Klugmann moved to Milan after high school to study law, but left university to pursue a career in the culinary arts. She trained on the job in various kitchens across Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Veneto, developing a strong interest in the creative aspect of cooking.<\/p>

In 2006, she opened her first restaurant, and in 2014, she founded L\u2019Argine a Venc\u00f2<\/em>, a space she designed from the ground up in a borderland she feels deeply connected to. Her cuisine is seasonal and original, highlighting local biodiversity and giving great importance to vegetables\u2014both cultivated and wild. Sustainability, waste reduction, and local sourcing are the cornerstones of her philosophy.<\/p>

Since 2022, she has served as an ambassador for WWF Italy\u2019s Food4Future<\/em> campaign, which seeks to transform food systems\u2014from production to consumption\u2014to make them more resilient, inclusive, healthy, and sustainable, while respecting both human needs and the planet\u2019s limits.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
