An invitation to contemplate the beauty of nature in its everyday and fleeting bloom. Four slender tables made of rusted iron support vases by Produzione Privata, filled with pruned cut flowers. “Make me poor and I will make you rich” says an old saying among vine pruners, reminding us that nature moves forward and regenerates, and that skillful pruning makes the plants happier.

The cut flowers, gathered in the vases, continue to express their beauty, albeit fleeting. We wish they could last forever, but they will inevitably wither, losing their color and fragrance. Yet, it is precisely in this withering that the flower fully expresses itself. Its transience enhances its beauty and value. This should not disturb our enjoyment but rather convey a profound message: beauty resides in the passage, in transformation, as Rikyu taught in his philosophy of wabi-sabi.
