Furio Ferri
Bio
Vaprio Zanoni, son of nurserymen and gardeners, started working in the green sector at 18, initially focusing on installations and then on growing ornamental plants. Later, he established gardening companies through which he completed various green works: restoration of historic gardens, public and private gardens and parks, terraces and rooftop gardens, green walls, and indoor and temporary installations. He collaborates as a consultant with many architectural and landscape design firms.
Furio Ferri was born in Viterbo in the mid-20th century. Always convinced he could change the world through art, at 20, he abandoned canvases and brushes for pencils and drafting tables. He spent his early professional years designing shop and restaurant interiors, exhibition stands at major trade events, and furniture design. Approaching maturity, he decided to change cities, regions, and interests: he fell in love with a Lombard woman and with her, he began the non-profit association Animum Ludendo Coles, installing in public areas across Italy large and traditional path games, painted, sculpted in stone, or made from other materials. He keeps playing because “play cultivates the soul”
