A graphic composition in which Nature and Universe overlap in the cyclical and complementary alternation of yin-yang. A universal etymological matrix, the soil, a common substrate and essence of life: from the soil life begins, to the soil the essence returns when death ensues. Death and life: two opposing and at the same time complementary realities, which remain united by a reciprocal interdependence in a cyclical succession. As on one side a dark, impoverished soil, crushed by human superstructure, dominates, so on the other a green, vital, lush space reigns. In the representation of the eternal yin-yang circle, the cyclicality of the earth resonates: from seeds and sprouts to flowering and fruiting plants, to return again to the seed that, when falling, finds in the earth a fertile womb to perpetuate its existence. From the dead tree, seeds fall: it is the symbol of the simultaneous end and beginning of the magic of life, which triggers an eternal cyclicity.
