Conference
Eden floreale e cambiamenti climatici (Floral Eden and Climate Change )
with Mario Giuliacci, meteorologist
Saturday, October 4th, at 3:00 PM
At the Italiana Terricci creative space “Il giardino ritrovato” (1)
Italy holds an extraordinarily rich floral heritage, home to about half of all plant species found in Europe. A true gem of biodiversity, now under serious threat due to climate change.
The effects of this imbalance are being felt everywhere, most intensely in polar regions. Increasing temperatures and water scarcity are slowing — and in some cases halting — the growth of many plant species. Some are at risk of disappearing entirely, while others will try to adapt as best they can to an increasingly extreme climate.
Solutions do exist. But to find them, we must listen to those who have spent decades observing, studying, and contemplating the delicate balance that governs our climate — and the life that depends on it.
The event is held in Italian
