Nature has a way of bringing everyone together.
It’s common to observe the great variety of people walking through Orticolario and be amazed.
The grown-ups, the very grown-ups, and the little ones.
Especially the little ones.
There are so many of them, happily walking in their colorful rubber boots.
In rows of two, no more than one meter high, they meander through the park, full of curiosity.
Eyes filled with wonder explore a suspended, new world.
They capture images that one day, who knows, might be returned to the world.
With the specific aim of leaving a mark, Orticolario engages with the youngest.
So, every year, on Thursdays and Fridays, the event opens its doors to over 950 students from kindergartens, elementary schools, and middle schools.
For this occasion, various itineraries are designed and proposed based on age groups, aimed at deepening the themes, installations, and creative spaces featured at the event. These paths, which intertwine in the perpetual encounter between nature, art and culture, follow a practical-experimental approach, with educational-creative workshops playing a central role.
The visit thus becomes a direct experience of the garden-world. Because everything that happens today may become the small seed of future awareness.
Because the way we stand in the world is a very serious matter, and it starts with the little things. A visit to a park, a stunning flower, the song of a robin.
