HASKAP. L’alieno blu della quota mille
with Chiara Guffanti, founder of Il Piccolo Frutto di Chiara, and Francesca Guidetti, nutritionist
[Event with a minimum contribution and by reservation. Admission to Orticolario is not included in the cost of the workshop.]*
A blue berry, extreme cold, one thousand metres above sea level.
Haskap (Lonicera caerulea) is a Siberian species that perfectly embodies the concept of morphological peculiarity and extreme resilience. Like a narrative and sensory journey through an imaginary Cabinet of Curiosities, the plant is not merely described, but “dissected” into its aesthetic, biological and organoleptic components.
The aim is to demonstrate how a rare species can develop “fantastical” survival strategies to thrive at an altitude of 1,000 metres, transforming frost into an excellence of colour and nutritional value.
