“Thus I disappear, and all that surrounds me is reborn: nothing lasts because everything has to change.”
Inspired by the tragedy of Edipo at Colonus, the Garden of Metamorphoses takes the sacred form of the Vesica Piscis: from the intersection of two circular spaces emerges a central almond-shaped enclosure, both the dwelling and destiny of Oedipus.
The threshold is a dark circle that opens onto the Golden Limbo: a cloud of grasses trembles in the light like golden dust, and the breath becomes anticipation. It is the instant that precedes metamorphosis.
Beyond lies the Forest of the Erinyes, primordial and profound: ancient ferns envelop the space, and nature imposes its archaic law. To cross the circle is to descend into the origin.
In the Forest of the Eumenides, matter grows brighter: vegetables of intense hues reveal a rediscovered order, transfiguring wrath into harmony.
Within the almond-shaped center lies Oedipus, an unmoving axis and symbolic pivot: within him, darkness and light are reconciled.

The garden thus becomes a dreamlike passage between myth and reality, death and rebirth.
